The foundations supporting our efforts enable us to award more Evans Scholarships while addressing the barriers to college completion faced by today's college students. In addition to financial relief, Evans Scholars benefit from academic, professional and social resources that help them navigate the college landscape as they pursue their education and career goals. We help these deserving young men and women secure a high-quality education, build a sustainable lifestyle and participate and flourish in the workplace.

Foundations Supporting the Evans Scholars Foundation
The Dresner Foundation
The Evans Scholars Foundation was awarded a $50,000 grant from the Dresner Foundation to support Evans Scholars from the counties of southeast Michigan. The Dresner Foundation supports organizations who provide opportunities for under-resourced community members to learn and foster important life skills that change the course of their lives.
AT&T Aspire Grant
AT&T supports organizations that help individuals build the skills they need to launch successful careers, with a focus on providing opportunities from individuals from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. This grant supports programs with proven sucess in helping young students graduate from college and thrive in the future.
Prosperity Denver Fund
The Denver College Affordability Fund helps expand post-secondary educational opportunities for Denver students. The Prosperity Denver Fund is responsible for managing and distributing funds collected through a dedicated sales tax to scholarship providers and student support organizations. In 2020, the Evans Scholars Foundation received a $112,000 grant to help support Evans Scholars from Denver County.
The one8 Foundation invests in initiatives where outputs and outcomes are measured and data is used to achieve continual improvement and results. Funding requires organizations with solid strategic plans and detailed annual implementation plans.
