Club Champion to support Western Amateur live stream

GLENVIEW, Ill. — The Western Golf Association (WGA), Evans Scholars Foundation (ESF) and Club Champion have announced a new multi-year partnership, making the world's leading custom club fitter the exclusive club-fitting partner of the WGA and ESF.

With this two-year agreement, Club Champion will become a proud partner of the 122nd Western Amateur Live Stream on ESPN+, bringing the excitement of golf's third-oldest amateur championship to homes and mobile devices nationwide on Aug. 2 and 3. Club Champion will also provide exclusive club-fitting opportunities for supporters of the Evans Scholars Par Club and WGA Directors, as well as volunteers at the BMW Championship and NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank.

"We are honored to partner with the Western Golf Association, a storied organization with a rich history in the sport,” said Joe Lee, chairman of Club Champion. “We are eager to bring our premier club fitting services to the talented golfers involved with the WGA. Our mission has always been to help golfers perform at their best, and this partnership allows us to extend that commitment to the next generation of players across all WGA events."

Club Champion's support will enable the WGA to provide more than 12 hours of live streaming coverage of the Western Amateur at Moraine Country Club in Dayton, Ohio. Fans will be able to watch the thrilling conclusion on ESPN+, as the next generation of PGA TOUR stars compete in the same event that has tested legends like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, as well as current stars like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa.

“We're excited to partner with a fellow Chicagoland brand that supports our mission of enhancing the game of golf for all and sending deserving youth caddies to college through the Evans Scholars Foundation,” said John Kaczkowski, WGA president and CEO. "This partnership will benefit all who generously support our organization and championships while also elevating the coverage of our famed Western Amateur."

Established in 2010, Club Champion is the nation's most prominent name in custom club fitting and building services, with 134 locations in the United States. The company, based in Willowbrook, Illinois, offers golfers access to more than 65 brands and 65,000 hittable head and shaft combinations.

"The WGA's dedication to personal and player development aligns perfectly with our goal of game improvement through custom-fitted clubs," said Colin Hall, Club Champion's chief marketing officer. "The Western Amateur is one of the most prestigious events in amateur golf, the BMW Championship is a marquee event on the PGA TOUR, and the ESF provides invaluable educational opportunities. We are proud to support these initiatives and look forward to enhancing the performance and enjoyment of the game for all participants and patrons over the next two years."
