Club Champion becomes exclusive club-fitting partner

GLENVIEW, Ill. — The Western Golf Association (WGA) and Evans Scholars Foundation (ESF) have announced a continuation of a multiyear partnership with Club Champion, designating the world's leading custom club fitter as the exclusive club-fitting partner of the WGA and ESF.

Club Champion will also remain a proud partner of the 123rd Western Amateur Live Stream on ESPN+, bringing the excitement of golf's third-oldest amateur championship to homes and mobile devices nationwide on Aug. 1 and 2. Additionally, the club fitter will provide exclusive club-fitting opportunities for supporters of the Evans Scholars Par Club and WGA Directors, as well as WGA staff and volunteers at the BMW Championship and NV5 Invitational.

“We're thrilled to extend our partnership this year with the Western Golf Association,” said Joe Lee, Chairman of Club Champion. “This collaboration is an exciting opportunity to bring our commitment to personalized golf club fitting to a wider audience, while supporting the WGA’s mission of growing the game and helping golfers of all skill levels reach their potential. We look forward to working alongside such a prestigious organization and furthering our shared passion for golf.”

Club Champion's support enables the WGA to provide more than 12 hours of live streaming coverage of the Western Amateur at Skokie Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois. Fans will be able to watch the thrilling conclusion on ESPN+, as the next generation of PGA TOUR stars compete in the same event that has tested legends like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, as well as current stars like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa.

Through the agreement, more than 43,500 Evans Scholars Par Club members and WGA Directors, as well as more than 2,000 BMW Championship and NV5 Invitational volunteers, will have access to a comprehensive TOUR-level fitting.

“We saw a tremendous response from supporters of the Evans Scholars Foundation and fans of the Western Amateur live stream in the first year of our partnership with Club Champion,” said John Kaczkowski, WGA President and CEO. “It's exciting to partner with a Chicagoland brand that delivers a top-tier experience for our supporters and fuels our mission of enhancing the game of golf while sending deserving youth caddies to college.”

Established in 2010, Club Champion’s state-of-the-art fitting experience utilizes the latest in launch monitor technology, coupled with expert fitters who work one-on-one with golfers to create the perfect set of custom clubs.
