As we drive toward our goal of having 1,000 Scholars in school, living in community, by 2020, it’s critical that we continue adding capacity at our partner universities. That includes the University of Wisconsin.
This campaign is raising funds for a complete rebuild of the Evans Scholarship House at 141 Langdon Street in Madison. The $8 million project will create a completely new 28,000-square-foot Scholarship House that will include five levels with enhanced spaces for studying and recreation. In addition to increasing the living capacity from 75 students to a potential 90, we’ll make necessary updates and improvements to provide a state-of-the-art living and learning environment for our Scholars. We plan to complete construction in August 2019, in time for the 2019-20 school year.
Your contribution to this campaign will be a one-time commitment that is above and beyond your annual Par Club gift. All commitments of $5,000 and greater will be recognized prominently on a plaque in the Scholarship House.
