As an Ingredient Specialist Intern at CERCO Group, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a company that has a strong industry reputation. This role will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of ingredient trading, including market research, supplier relations, contract negotiation, and partner management. The intern will work closely with our experienced trading team, gaining insight into the intricacies of the global ingredient market and contributing to the success of our trading operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging opportunities in the ingredient industry.
  • Assist in sourcing high-quality ingredients from domestic and international suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the trading team in negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of trade with suppliers and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to facilitate smooth execution of trades and timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and market data, utilizing internal databases and systems.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret market data and financial information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
